Diane Canizzo and her son Jamel Hamka love American Eskimos. They have been breeding American Eskimos since 2004 and love the opportunity to share the breed with so many good homes. The eskie is an amazing breed. They are extremely smart but very sweet. They are easily trained, have very little health problems and most of all incredibly loving. If you are familiar with the breed you will agree that they are one of the most human-like breeds you've ever encountered. This is where we got our name...Heaven Sent Eskies. American Eskimos are a gift by God that we are so happy to share with people around the country.
Jamel helps his mother in the area of web development and customer relations enabling his mother to spend adequate time taking care of every puppy's physical and emotional need. Diane is a proud grandma of 8 grandchildren and consistently has the grandkids over to help socialize every puppy. What Sets Heaven Sent Eskies Apart?
First of all, we ensure your puppy’s good health. It starts before your puppy is ever conceived, providing proper diet and exercis
e to the parents. Throughout the pregnancy, the dam is monitored to ensure she and the puppies are progressing well. In addition to this she is provided with additional nutritional supplements and exercise. We are there, assisting with every birth during whelping, and take every pain to ensure that each puppy comes through the critical first twenty-four hours in good health. Each puppy is then taken to the veterinarian for a check-up (along with the dam), and dewclawed. Dewclawing is a simple procedure in which the side claws of the front legs are removed, preventing painful and expensive accidents in the future. Each puppy is carefully monitored throughout their time with us, and is weaned on premium puppy food ( Blue Buffalo Chicken & Brown Rice Puppy Food). By the time it leaves us, it will have had its first set of shots and a final check up from the veterinarian.
Secondly, we employ every possible measure to form good emotional health in each puppy. We consider each of our dogs a member of the family. We treat the puppies no differently. From day one, the puppies are in our home, being handled, played with and loved on every single day. Someone is home the majority of the time, making sure the pups are well cared for, and interacting with them throughout the day. Unlike kennels that produce dozens of litters every year, we have only 2-3, giving us adequate time and space in our home to care for the puppies as they should be cared for. The American Eskimo is one of the most delightful breeds we have ever encountered, but as with many breeds, if the puppies are not properly socialized, over aggressiveness, excessive shyness and submissive urination (wetting when excited or fearful) are often the result. Due to the number of puppies produced, owners and operators of kennels and pet stores generally do not have the resources to properly socialize the puppies, and as a result, those that purchase puppies from these places often face the challenge of dealing with these emotional issues.
Thirdly, we put the puppy’s welfare foremost. We are determined that our puppies should belong to a family that loves it and is committed to its well-being. We screen buyers through our Questionnaire and our conversations with them.
Fourthly, we make every effort to make your experience of purchasing a puppy a smooth and enjoyable process. 
We do not allow selection of your puppy to be made until it is 4-5 weeks old, giving it time to physically develop, and giving us an opportunity to observe its personality. At that time, a puppy may be chosen in person, or a photo and personality description is sent to each buyer. Each puppy comes with the UKC registration paperwork, a health examination by our vet, a one-year genetic health warranty, a puppy training manual (Click to see a PDF format of this), a toy they have played with, and a puppy pack containing valuable information and a small bag of their Blue Buffalo Chicken & Brown Rice Puppy Food.
